Success as a Mindset

"Never say die!" To say these are words to live by, feels cheesy. However, there are two strong reasons that it is precisely what you should do.
First, to never view any situation as hopeless, is wise indeed. Once you dispair, you have given away all chance of recovery. You have given up. You can never, ever allow yourself to surrender hope.
Second, and probably more profound, is the effect of staying positive in your mental state. Not giving up is one thing, but not even knowing failure is a possibility is quite another. If you are constantly looking for the pitfalls of life, you never see the opportunities all around. If you expect success, then the potholes that inevitably liter your path to success, will be easy to avoid.
Look ahead, not back, always play for the win, and any number of other cliches are all good advice.
It is amazing to me how caustic a negative outlook really is. It is a cancer, it spreads and grows from the minds of one person, or from one aspect to the next. Eventually if left untreated it will kill your project or your dream. And just like a tumor, you need to remove it.
I make it a point to eliminate all negativity from my life, and as made famous by the end scene of Monty Python's "Life of Brian", Always look on the bright side of life.
